Poutine & Caesar Showdown Serves Up a Delicious New Challenge for 2026
The Vernon Winter Carnival is turning up the heat — and the flavour — with one of its most mouthwatering new events: the VWC Poutine & Caesar Showdown, running February 6–15, 2026 across the North Okanagan.
This isn’t just one night of indulgence — it’s a 10-day tasting tour celebrating the best local comfort food and cocktails. Diners will explore Vernon, and Armstrong, sampling creative poutines and signature Caesars at participating restaurants, then casting their votes online to help crown the champions.
Early contenders include BNA, The Edge, The Clove, and Longhorn Pub, each ready to put their own spin on these Canadian classics. Both People’s Choice and Judge’s Choice awards will be handed out, along with prizes, media features, and ultimate bragging rights for the winners.
